Art Teacher- Root Division Youth Education Program, San Francisco, Ca. 2013-present. In conjunction with another teaching artist, currently devising and teaching the second 10-week curriculum for middle-school students in an under-served school in San Francisco's Mission district. These free art classes, part of an after-school program, creating a link between practicing artists and the schools community.

Art Teacher – San Mateo Correctional Facility, San Francisco, CA. Summer 2010 to 2012. As recipient of 2010 Davis Peace Project Grant, devised a 6‐week course of painting and drawing for at‐risk, incarcerated adolescent girls. Social Worker – Christ Faith Home for Children, Chennai, India 10/07‐5/09 Provided daily care and supervision to 15 infants and toddlers. Started training program in health and hygiene. Initiated and participated in Internet forum to sustain volunteer community. Also fundraised $6,000+ for CFHC to renovate toddler dormitory and provide new clothing and food to about 200 children.

Outreach Worker – Spectrum One Stop, Burlington, VT. 9/00-8/03 As an AmeriCorps worker, co‐directed drop‐in center for runaway/homeless youth, serving 200+ teens a year. Organized daily educational/recreational programs, including yoga, art and cooking classes, outdoor activities and maintenance of community garden. Contracted artists and other community members to teach classes.
